November 7, 2005 - Savage Gulf North Rim

This is basically a repeat of a hiking trip that I went on back in February. The Fall colors justified doing this one again. It was great!
Savage Falls

This is the lowest flow I've seen at Savage Falls. We like need rain.

While standing at Rattlesnake Point, I see a camper sitting on a bluff on the North Rim. I eventually catch up to him. He is going to spend the night at Hobbs Cabin. We did a lot of trail talk before moving on our separate ways.
Rattlesnake Point - Wow!

Tommy's Point - Wow again!!

It is a very clear day. Stone Door is clearly visible about 5 miles away. I didn't want to leave. As usual, I ate lunch here, then headed back to the ranger station.
