April 29, 2008 - Since the mid 90's, I have hauled around commercial Bose equipment. It has been extremely rare that I use someone else's sound equipment. I am spoiled. But when you play live piano (whether it's real or not), and use backing tracks, being able to hear is critical. On this occasion, through arrangement with the music director, I went to First Baptist Church of Jasper with only a small songbook and a CD of my backing tracks. This was very uncomfortable for me.
